Originally Hill Country Handyman, now we are your friendly Neighborhood Handyman, LLC. As you can imagine it started in the hill country, of central Texas. Originally started simply as a way to help out my fellow neighbors. Life had thrown one of its infamous curve balls my direction which had me reassessing the direction I was headed. I was raised as a do-it-yourself’er by my mother and father. If a problem ever arose my father would always fix it himself before calling someone to do it for him. This was true as far back in my family as I know of, with my grandfather being the ultimate do-it-yourself person. He was an aviation mechanic working for United before he retired. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do himself. I’ve personally worked in many different fields from construction to demolition as well as a mechanic working at multiple dealerships and doing small engine repair out of highschool. I spent a number of years building fences in Texas, in Colorado I did “demolition”, I put that in quotes because for anyone who has worked in demolition you know it’s not really demolition but disassembly, it’s just construction in reverse. I learned most of what I know from the jobs I’ve worked. My co-workers all have their own specialties, from auto repair to tile work. That’s not to say they can’t do other things but they excel at certain things. Because of our attention to detail, unbeatable prices, communication, punctuality and willingness to do any job no matter how small or big, Neighborhood Handyman Was an overnight success, meaning we had amazing reviews and steady business. What started as a way to pass time and help my neighbors with my plethora of knowledge turned into a successful business, and I thank every one of my neighbors and customers for the support. I look forward to our continued growth together!
Thank you,
Ryan Perez, Owner/Operator
